I graduated from New York University Tisch with a degree in Drama in 2012. I was born in Lancashire, England and grew up in Columbia, South Carolina before coming up to New York for college. My mom is a fifth-grade teacher, and I have often helped her to score essays--providing another opinion to be sure her analysis was on track--which developed my critical eye. It's exciting for me to help open doors for students to new worlds of understanding. Beyond being passionate about language and communication, I believe very strongly in being prepared for standardized testing--I worked hard to have the opportunity to attend the college of my choice, and a large part of that was getting my test scores to be where I needed them. At the end of the day, testing is about logic and reasoning and developing tools to help under pressure is crucial. I like working one-on-one and solving learning puzzles. I currently audition and act in New York. In my free time, I love visiting museums and parks, taking yoga and dance classes, and seeing plays and movies.
