About Me

I am a native German and I am an educator at heart. I studied Early Childhood Education in Germany and completed my internship England as a German Teaching Assistant. I prepared students ages 14-18 for their German entrance exam and served as chaperon at their weekly extracurricular activities. After I earned my teaching certificate from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in May 2011, I joined the staff at the German School St. Louis. I loved to enchant my 5-6 year old students and created a playful lesson plan with songs and games. As a native speaker, my knowledge of German is impeccable. I deliver a lesson with contagious enthusiasm. And maintain a structure, yet relaxed environment. Educating children is my passion and it is my pleasure to teach students all facet about the German language. My daughter shares my passion of hiking and swimming. We like to explore new nature trails around St. Louis and enjoy a good book. My culturally diverse circle of friends got me interested in cooking again in which I am currently experiencing with the Indian cuisine.
