About Me

I am a graduate student at Drexel University in Philadelphia, and I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to my arrival in Philadelphia, I worked as a Molecular Biology Research Assistant for a biotechnology company. There, I was responsible for designing and performing experiments to aid in the creation of a vaccine for a very deadly disease. Prior to that, I worked for the United States Department of Agriculture, where I assisted a laboratory in the production of alternative fuel sources through fatty acids. Academically, I attended the University of New Orleans (UNO), where I obtained both a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Molecular Biology. While a graduate student at University of New Orleans, I was privileged to work as a Biology laboratory instructor for undergraduates. Guiding these students to success in the classroom was one of the most satisfying experiences in my life. I aim to rekindle that same satisfaction here in Philadelphia, by tutoring the wonderful students this vibrant city has to offer. I very much look forward to creating new experiences here in Philadelphia and providing an exceptional quality of academic guidance to as many students as possible. Of course, given my upbringing, I will add creativity and flair to allow for an entertaining and positive learning experience. As we say in New Orleans, laissez les bon temps roulez!
