About Me

I adapt the tutoring approach to the needs of the student and am patient. I enjoy working with students of all levels. I explain the concepts in ways that are easy to understand. In mathematics often if you are having problems, you missed something earlier on; I try to identify what basic areas you need work in and help you understand the fundamentals first and move on to the more difficult problems you are working on currently. I consistently get excellent results with my math tutoring. I have a very strong academic math background, including a math degree from Johns Hopkins. I have over 3000 hours tutoring experience. I can tutor the most difficult high school subjects, including Calculus and Pre-Calculus. I am experienced in tutoring for honors classes and private schools.
