I have always had a passion for working with kids of all ages, and I am happy to have reached the point in my professional development in which I have the opportunity to help students achieve academic success and strive to reach their full potential. I believe in using cognitive modeling to help students gain a conceptual understanding of content by guiding them through the thought process and gradually releasing responsibility. I work to help students gain a better understanding of material by engaging students by using visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic learning techniques. I find guiding students to success to be a truly rewarding experience, and I believe I can help improve students understanding of a variety of skills necessary for academic success.
