I believe with the proper tools and guidance, every student can have a meaningful educational experience. My philosophy is that each and every student learns at his or her own pace and each with their own style. It is my job to find out which methods work best for each student. Currently, I am working with a 1st grade student who has Autism. I go to her home in the mornings before school and go through a therapy program decided on by her parents and my input. Over the last year, her parents have been receiving news of her progress from the school staff. While providing therapy, I am also tutoring her to keep her up to date on homework and assignments. I love every opportunity I receive to work with students one-on-one. It is amazing what results can be seen with a little patience, hard work, and consistency!
