I'm a firm believer that people learn better when they can connect with their tutor.

I am an incoming business school student at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where I will be starting next fall. I received my bachelors degree in economics at Yale University, where I also worked as an editor to the Yale Daily News.

I'm planning on applying to PHD programs in media studies soon. I have been in love with learning all my life, and I hope to be a professor one day. In the meantime, when I am free, I spend a lot of time reading, learning french and watching films. I also like to travel whenever possible, and my favorite cities are Istanbul and Paris. I am currently in my fourth year of school, and will be applying tointernal medicine residency programs in the fall. I find the most effective learning strategy is to understand the underlying concepts behind a subject, which facilitates the application of this knowledge to a wide range of novel problems in a testing environment. Additionally, by helping a student find a personal connection to the material, I can foster a passion for the subject that motivates independent learning.

I am a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and University of Illinois at Chicago. I received my Doctor of Pharmacy and also Master of Public Health. Additionally, I completed my residency training at Midwestern University. I am board certified in pharmacotherapy (BCPS).
