I'm a poet, editor, teacher, and painter, and I recently earned my MFA in Creative Writing at BU. I currently teaching writing - creative and academic- at Boston University and at Summer Ink, a Simmons University program. During my time at BU, I taught creative writing courses at both the undergraduate and pre-college level. For my undergraduate degree, I studied both English and Education, earning my English Secondary Teaching Certificate in Pennsylvania. After graduating, I moved to Budapest to teach history, art, writing, and music for three years. During my fourth year in Hungary, I trained interpreters for the EU and taught literature, philosophy, and rhetoric in an American high school. I've had a lot of experience teaching ESL and preparing students for the IELTS, TOEFL, and Cambridge English Exams, and I use engaging, innovative methods which are tailored to the interests and needs of each student.

I believe that everyone can learn, provided the teacher finds the proper channel through which to reach the students.I was born in Martinique, raised in Paris where I studied latin, Greek and philosophy. I have a DUEL from University of Paris X/Nanterre. I later moved to New York City and Chicago where I obtained a Bachelors in jazz Performance/Upright bass. I also graduated from DePaul University with a Masters in Education and from Vandercook College of Music with a Masters in Music Education.
