I currently work full-time as a Software Engineering Associate II at a Fortune 500 company. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP). I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in computer science and minors in global engineering leadership and technology entrepreneurship. I have past experience as a software engineer intern, geographic information system (GIS) Intern, and data analyst working on image annotations.
My current target student demographic for tutoring is students in grades K-12 and introductory college level classes. I have several years of expertise tutoring computer science courses at the elementary, middle, high school, and introductory college levels. Java, Python JavaScript, Roblox Scripting with Lua, C++, AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles, drag-and-drop languages (Scratch, Code.org, Snap, MIT App Inventor, ), are among the subjects I tutor.
I served as a Teaching Ambassador and I4C Computing Instructor at the Maryland Center for Women in Computing (MCWIC) in the Computer Science Department at The University of Maryland. I supported with the organization of events for existing and prospective UMCP students, such as CompSciConnect, Techinca, and numerous CS Workshops ( for lower-level computer science courses (i.e., CMSC131, CSC132) and high school computing), I taught and mentored students at local middle and elementary schools on a weekly basis while at MCWIC, covering topics such as Python, web and application development, cryptology, drag-and-drop languages (Scratch, MIT App Inventor, ), robotics, and more. I've also been a lead instructor for Montgomery College's Youth Robotics and Engineering Course and Youth Summer Arduino Course in the past
