As an experienced and dedicated tutor with a strong academic background in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications Management, I am eager to share my knowledge and passion for mathematics, physics, and engineering with students of all ages. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Master's of Science in Telecommunications Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. My academic experience has exposed me to a wide range of relevant courses, from project management and organizational behavior to wireless communications and mobile computing.
I bring over four years of tutoring experience to the table, having worked as a Science & Mathematics Tutor and Substitute Teacher at Passaic High School, where I tutored students in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Physics. I also mentored students who attended my tutoring sessions and occasionally served as an interpreter for Spanish-speaking parents during school presentations. My fluency in both oral and written Spanish adds to my ability to communicate effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
My professional experience includes working as an Engineer IV - Network Assurance at Verizon Wireless, where I honed my exceptional leadership and communication skills, and as an Owner & Operations Manager at Dante's Liquor & Wine. I am proficient in various software and programming languages, including Mapinfo, Matlab and Simulink, C, C++, Pspice, Multisim, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
In addition to my academic and professional accomplishments, I have been recognized for my achievements with honors such as Dean's List, and I am a member of the Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society and Eta Kappa Nu Electrical Engineering Honor Society.
