Hi there. I've been a teacher for grades 3-12 and college. Between getting a PhD and teaching for 19 years, I've learned to teach and tutor many different subjects and students. I've worked with students who excel in school, National Merit Scholars, and those who have struggles, including students with 504 and IEP plans. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and abilities.

I have experience tutoring students in Algebra 1 and lower math, Reading, Grammar, Writing/Composition/Research papers, Literature, Government, Economics, and AP/regular American and European History.

I tutor in a manner where I help guide students to the answer by asking questions. If they need an answer, I'll give it to them, but then help them get the next question on their own.
