I graduated from Kaplan University majoring in Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education. I have 13 years experiece and knowledge teaching students from 4 to 16 years olds. I'm also TESOL certified and have been teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to many children and adults for 3 years. I enjoy teaching young children because teachers are a child's educational foundation. Teacher's help shape and mold who students become in the future. Being a teacher is rewarding and a great way to make a difference in a child's life.
I teach elementary school, Math, Reading, Science, Writing, Phonics and ESL. These are all my favorites subjects too teach in an unique way. I enjoy teaching reading because without knowing how to read, you won't understand other core subjects and life in general. I want to be apart of watching a child master one of the toughest skills.
I love Science, because students can explore and learn new things. I love that Science is all hands on. It gives the student the chance to problem solve in a fun way without feeling like there's a right or wrong way.
I love ESL because you get to help a student understand a new language. The benefits are like learning how to read. Learning a new language is a major educational foundation for a child. When you think back at a child's accomplishments. It starts with reading and language skills. This is why I enjoy teaching these subjects. I want to assist in any way that I can in a child's education.

My teaching philosphy is that a child's education enviroment shoud be safe and fun. A place where they can have an imagination, speak their minds, make mistakes and learn from them. A place where there's guidance and no judgement.
