Dr. LaFaid Johnson is a native of Los Angeles, where he also received his education. A graduate of Occidental College, Dr. Johnson received an M.A. from the California State University, Los Angeles, an M.A. in Organizational Development and Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. He is formerly a lecturer in the School of Business for the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where he taught Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management. Dr. Johnson also served as faculty advisor and Sam M. Walton Free Enterprise Fellow for the University of Michigan chapter of "Students in Free Enterprise" (SIFE).
Dr. Johnson is an experienced educator in undergraduate and graduate education, specializing in adult-learning techniques, career development, and professional skills. He has expertise in applied research and advanced statistical analysis for behavioral assessments, test development, process modeling, performance planning, performance improvement, and data reporting.

Graduate Degree: Alliant International University - Doctor of Philosophy, Industrial and Organizational Psychology
Currently residing in the Ann Arbor, MI area, Dr. Johnson’s favorite avocation is being a husband of 33 years and father of twin girls. A former stage actor and director, Dr. Johnson is now an avid golfer. And, in his spare time he works as an EMT, enjoys theater, film, shooting sports, and tinkering with computers.
