I am a rising sophomore at Cornell University studying biological sciences on a pre-med track (for now!). After beginning to take these more difficult classes, I found myself working more and more to problem solve with friends, often taking the lead or sometimes sitting back and getting help myself. Further, I have experience as a referee for soccer and basketball, working with kids of all ages helping teach them the game of soccer and ensure all follow the rules and have a good time; this is the mindset I will take to tutoring these subjects.
Every time I experience a new subject, I develop a passion for spreading this knowledge to other people. As I prepare to be a teaching assistant for chemistry in the fall, as I was selected out of 500+ students to be, I want to execute this and therefore use this opportunity to practice skills in teaching any variety of subjects. I have experience in all of these classes through high school and a little bit of college, and having worked hard in each one I know what strategy I used that I can try and pass on, but will also adapt my style to each student to see what trick will help them remember any topic.
Beyond schooling, I enjoy vacationing, spending time with friends, playing and watching sports, and watching movies. I am always open for more places to visit and believe in my ability to make a relationship with the students on an academic and personal level as this exponentially helps the learning process. I am here for any student and any subject and am eager to help prepare them for the fall at any stage as I know how much this experience would have allowed me to ease into new classes better!

Beyond classes, I enjoy playing and watching sports (especially soccer and basketball). I also watch a lot of movies, spend time with friends exploring new places, or read on current astronomy news, medical developments, or about American history. Realistically, I am a typical 19 year old kid with a passion for some subjects and helping others learn what I know well.
