I am an engineer and a project manager with 20 years of experience in industry. I hold a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin, formal project management certifications and I am licensed and registered as a patent agent with the USPTO. As I have advanced in my career, I have grown to enjoy mentoring and teaching others in order to help them advance themselves academically and professionally. My strongest subjects to teach are Calculus, Physics and Electrical Engineering. Specific to Electrical Engineering: Circuits, design, solid state devices and electronic materials.

Hobbies

My interests and hobbies range from the outdoors to a bit nerdy. I enjoy biking around the Madison area and hiking and camping within Wisconsin's state parks. At home, I am both an avid reader and a hobby-scientist. I enjoy Science experiments performed with locally-sourced reagents. I program a little in C++ and javascript. I own a robot that I like to play around with, and I have written programs to calculate odds and to play poker and blackjack. Anything to keep my mind active.
