I am a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, Ro Piedras Campus. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education, High School Biologywith emphasis on Biotech and Molecular Geneticsin 2007. Since then, I've taught in different settings and cities in the US: Brooklyn, Long Island, and Puerto Rico. I've worked in private, charter, and public schools. My experience as a tutor includes high performing studentsI've taught AP Bio for 5 yearsand kids with special needs. I'm bilingual (Spanish and English), this has allowed me to help English Language Learners in many ways.
I'm passionate about tech, language, science; and how the intersection of these are happening in the 21st century. I believe in interdisciplinary approached to Science that includes, but it's not limited to: Social Sciences, Art, Philosophy, etc. In other words, I believe in STEAM: creativity and curiosity as fuel for human potential.
