About Me

I love helping students feel good about mastering a new concept so that they can feel confident learning new things. I've tutored students of all ages both in person and online since 1998. I started tutoring Calculus at UW Madison while working on my Electrical Engineering Degree and continued tutoring Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus ever since. I've also done summer enrichment programs giving kids the opportunity to build their own circuits. My favorite subject is pre-calculus because it brings things together from geometry, algebra and trigonometry. My tutoring style very much depends on the student. I like to first understand the student's approach and then I like to find a way to meet them in the middle without starting over. Outside of academia I spend time with my wife and two kids. I am also the co-founder of a healthcare information technology consulting group and we love solving data problems for health systems.
