I am a graduate of Duquesne University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Jewish Studies. I graduated Cum Laude and was part of the Honors College and many other student organizations throughout my time at Duquesne University. I was also deeply involved in academic research and completed an Independent Honors Senior Research Thesis. Currently I am in graduate school studying for my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I have a wide range of tutoring experiences, tutoring children of all ages within various subjects as well as tutoring my university peers. I also have experience tutoring for college and graduate school prep, as well as essay writing for college and graduate school admission. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Psychology, Writing, English and Literature. I am a firm believer in every student's ability to learn and succeed in their studies! With this belief though I recognize that each student learns differently, I tailor my tutoring and teaching styles to each student based upon their strengths and weaknesses. I think it is important to get to know my students, what they enjoy and what they struggle with, and use this knowledge to help them find the easiest and most enjoyable route to improving their knowledge in the desired subject areas. I believe learning should be fun and engaging so no matter the subject or topic I work hard to make sure the lessons are relevant to the students interests and goals. In my spare time, I enjoy reading a variety of genres, yoga, running, and playing board games! I believe it is a duty for those who have the privilege to receive an education to give back to others within their community, so I find great fulfillment in participating in volunteer work and outreach within my community.
