I earned a B.S. in Physics from Missouri S&T in 1963 and a PhD in Physics from Louisiana State University in 1967. I taught physics at LSU and the University of Georgia for three years and worked for 36 years in applied physics and engineering management at Honeywell FM&T in Kansas City. Since I retired in 2006 I have tutored physics at Johnson County Community College and high school students in the greater Kansas City area. I adapt my tutoring approach to each student based on his/her level of understanding concepts, math skills, and English language proficiency. My personal interests and activities include birding and nature photography with my wife of 57+ years, physical fitness workouts, and golf.
