Further, I have also been a Referee and Reader for UCLA's American Indian Studies Center, providing insights as to whether a document should be published.
I am familiar with both the Modern Language Association (MLA) standards and the American Psychology Association (APA) standards in writing, including in citations and references. I have over twenty years of experience reading, marking, correcting, and grading papers at the following levels: UC schools, state university, community college, and K-12, both in regular education and in special education.
I have taught students and have graded papers in UC schools for over six years, in state university for two years, in community colleges for five years, and in K-12 for seven years. All the above is concurrent with practicing private tutoring in writing in many areas, but primarily in English, Composition, and Literature. Finally, I also have many years of experience teaching in both English as a Second Language (ESL) courses and Sheltered courses.
