Greetings! And a bit about me...
I specialize in working with kids who have socio-emotional issues, educational delays, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD and spectrum disorders and general anti-math feelings. I've worked with several children who have IEPs and 504s; as well as having experienced issues with my own children, I understand how difficult working within the system can be on a family. Also, how "neuronormies" can struggle with math and find it overwhelming.
As a lifetime learner who originally obtained an AA degree in Behavioral Science (emphasis in Psych.); I went on to attain a BA degree in Speech Communications (emphasis in Rhetoric and Public Speaking) with a minor in marketing (emphasis in Sustainable Marketing), in Colorado, at MSU; I graduated Summa Cum Laude....
Since my true passions lie in math and the sciences, that meant having to accept a talent in subjects for which I didn't always find interest. I like trying to instill that in others.
I like making math less scary.
I wish you success.
