I received my Bachelor's in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota. I am a driven and impassioned learner who is insatiably curious and continually pursuing new experiences. I try to balance analytic focus with creative insight and big-picture-thinking. I am quick to adapt to whatever situation I may find myself in, always looking for elegant and creative solutions to problems.

After studying Philosophy and Computer Science as an undergrad, I ventured abroad to teach English in South Korea. After four years, I have recently returned home to pursue an M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) to expand my knowledge and take the next step in furthering my career.

I love solving puzzles and problems of all sorts, mainly logic and word problems, and enjoy helping my students find joy in working through their own puzzles. I am a great listener and adept at clarifying difficult problems as well as finding novel perspectives and heuristics for solving problems.
