Born and raised in Houston for the first 18 years of my life, I've returned home after graduating from Washington University in St. Louis with a Chemical Engineering degree to pursue graduate studies at Rice. While in St. Louis, I had the opportunity to tutor 1st, 4th, and 5th graders struggling with reading and writing skills and identified as "at risk" within the St. Louis Public School system. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, running, playing videogames, reading, and traveling to new places with friends.
I love solving math and science problems. I would like to teach my students the basic tenets of problem solving so that they can tackle any problem on their own. Additionally, I want to impart my love for solving problems on my students. Education doesn't have to be boring. It can be fun!
