I studied at the University of Texas at Austin, where I received degrees in Plan II Honors, Neurolinguistics, English and Pre-Med, as well as minors in Chemistry and Biological Sciences. I have tutored professionally for seven years, teaching students from a kindergarten level, all the way up to a graduate student level. I have a strong base in all subjects, but I especially enjoy language tutoring, because I am multilingual. I love teaching Mathematics, Sciences, English, History, Writing...you name it. My philosophy is that the most effective teaching comes from knowing how my student learns, and meeting them where they are. I want to instill a love of learning, but that will not happen if I don't get to know my student.
Outside teaching, I write fiction, perform Shakespearean theatre, cook and bake from scratch, design recipes, and add my mezzo soprano to my church chorale on a regular basis.
Let's learn together!
