Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

I believe that experience is the best teacher. I do not believe in overly verbose lectures or monotonous note-taking sessions. I believe that practice can make perfect, and that having fun while practicing is a really good thing!

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

The first session is a "get to know you" session, where I find out who the student is as a person and a student. From there, I find out where the sessions need to focus and map a plan, with the student's input, tailored to their needs and wants as best as possible.
