I have been tutoring since I was a high school student. I've worked with middle and high school students on topics in math, the sciences, and ACT Prep. From my experiences tutoring and presenting scientific research, I have developed an enthusiasm for explaining concepts in creative ways, tailored to the listener.
I graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering and Earth and Planetary Science. As a student, I pursued my passion for sustainability through research, volunteer work, and environmental policy development. In order to complete rigorous engineering coursework and pursue my interests, I developed strategies for effective studying and time management. After graduating, I relocated to Seattle. I am currently conducting multi-hazard risk assessment for Washington state coastal regions with the Department of Natural Resources.
