About Me

I tutor all Regents and Honors Math and Science in the Huntington Area. Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II/Trig, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Calculus I, or Calculus AB for high school students. My favorite class to tutor is Algebra II/Trig, as it was one the toughest and most useful math classes I've taken in high school. Another favorite of mine is 7th Grade Math, as it is a very critical point in establishing all of the fundamentals that will be used for the rest of one's math education. When I am not buried in a book I enjoy Mountain Biking, Sailing, and Kayaking. I have studied Biochemistry for two years at SUNY Geneseo, and I am currently transitioning to a career path in Health Sciences closer to home. I believe I stand out as a tutor because I avoid mindless memorization and instead propose simple examples that explain why and how we come up with an answer. I was born with a love for learning and a passion for understanding. Let me help you find your true potential in science and math.
