About Me

I am in my third year of college and have had ample experience in tutoring! I started out helping elementary, middle school, and high school students when I was a sophomore at Melrose High, and then moved on to tutoring college students of all ages and ethnicities at St. Cloud Technical and Community College (SCTCC). While there, my main focus was mathematics (basic math, algebra, some statistics), though I also helped students with business, logic, and a number of science-related questions. I graduated from SCTCC with an Associates in Art as well as an Associates degree in Business Management. I am currently attending St. Cloud State University, and hope to major in Psychology and minor in Spanish. I personally love tutoring math because once the basic foundation has been laid, one is able to build on it by applying the ideas and formulas to real life. This is one topic where practice really can make perfect! I also scored highly on my ACT and am very willing to help students prepare for the different topics they are to encounter in such standardized tests, as well as techniques that allow for the best answer to be chosen within a specific amount of time. I like to think of myself as very friendly and approachable, and I understand that each individual has their own unique way of learning and understanding. I will try my best to help you grasp the concepts that may be giving you troubles!
