I graduated from Binghamton University with an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law, and a minor in Global Studies. Prior to that, I attended Brooklyn Technical High School, one of the top ranking specialized high schools in New York City. I have tutored students of all ages in subjects including but not limited to SHSAT Prep, Reading, Writing, Math, Biology, Social Studies, History, and English Language and Composition. I am also a native Russian speaker.
I am excited about the opportunity to pass my love of learning on to my students. I believe that every student has the capacity to engage with even the most challenging material, as long as they have the right guidance. The process of learning should be rewarding, and I think that it is never too early, or too late, to enjoy learning.
I believe in a personalized approach, keeping in mind the strengths, weaknesses, and goals of each of my students. I encourage students to think carefully, read carefully, and question often. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy reading, writing, and rollerblading.
