Every person is teachable. There is no exception. Everyone has only a different method of learning. Some learn through connections while others just find it better to memorize.
My interest in tutoring began as I have met various people from all over the world with limited English skills. As English was my second language as well, I gained different approaches to international students who were learning the language. Because some languages are very different from English, I would start learning about their language and see what approach would be best to guide them when it came to their time of building sentences.
This same approach could be used in Science and many other disciplines. Therefore, I decided to use my experience and skills and use them on the subjects I am most comfortable with.
With a Bachelors degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, I feel confident in teaching subjects in the Biology undergraduate curriculum (including Anatomy, Physiology, and Genetics), as well as Chemistry subjects. Organic Chemistry and Biochemisty are my top favorite due to the different methods of learning these seemingly complicated subjects.
Undergraduate Degree: Millersville University - Bachelor of Science, Biology, General
