I'm an undergraduate at Rice University. Growing up in Houston, I left home after freshman year of high school to attend the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, from where I graduated high school early with two years of college credits.
While I tutor many subjects, math and science are easily my favorites. I have always enjoyed tutoring others because it allows me to contribute to one's success. Since the beginning of middle school, I've worked with students from sixth grade to college. I enjoy teaching math, but I am also experienced in SAT/ACT preparation, chemistry, biology, physics, mandarin Chinese, grammar, and writing. Practice is the key to excel in any subject, especially math and science. More importantly, academics require one to think logically and to enjoy the solving process.
In my free time, I am a part-time magician creating memorable entertainment for all ages and events. I truly enjoy this hobby, which has trained me in audience-influence and social-networking. I also exercise daily, play the piano, and listen to many genres of music.
