I am currently a Sophomore at the University of Florida where I study accounting in their honors program. I have past experience in tutoring SAT and ACT for my high school as well as in reviewing student's college admissions essays. I am very passionate about tutoring, mostly the major standardized tests, because I know how hard and important they are to students. As someone who was also in that difficult position, grinding and stressing about my test scores, I really take pride in ensuring that students are able to maximize their potential and achieve a score that they are proud of. I am most passionate about teaching SAT and ACT reading, as I find that many students find it to be one of the harder subjects, however it can quickly become one of the easiest subjects and significantly boost student scores with just a little understanding of how the test is designed! When it comes to my teaching philosophy, I try to put a major emphasis on blending learning with online media that students frequent to make learning feel like less of a chore while encouraging students to become more engaged with content online. My tutoring style is focused on simplifying concepts as much as possible while placing a great emphasis on underlying ideas behind how questions are designed, especially when it comes to standardized tests. Outside of tutoring, I really love to travel and plan on studying abroad in South Korea this Summer!

I am actively seeking to pursue my own dreams and now look to help those who strive to do the same.
I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you through your language courses!
I am an incoming medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I graduated from Rice University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Medical Humanities and Business.
I am a licensed physician from Florida who is currently changing careers. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 and have extensive tutoring and editing experience. While a student, I became a certified writing tutor through the Critical Writing Department. Since I completed my writing requirement at the University prior to matriculating, I was the first freshman tutor to be accepted into this selective program. The tutoring program involved a preliminary peer-tutor training course prior to beginning tutoring, in order to certify that I had the appropriate background to provide professional feedback to fellow students on their literary works and projects. After graduation, I worked for a full-service learning center where I created and implemented high school lesson plans for home-schooled students, provided academic support for students ranging in ages from 8 to 20 years old, and taught group and individual standardized testing preparation classes. I have also assisted students with application essays for various undergraduate and graduate programs.
I am currently a Harvard student majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Applied Mathematics. I graduated Class Valedictorian in high school and was named National Merit Finalist. I took 16 AP classes in high school, including AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science A, AP Physics C : Mechanics and AP Physics 1, with a score of 5 in all of the tests. I scored a 1570/1600 in my SAT and 800 in the SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test and 790 in the SAT Physics Subject Test.
I am available to tutor a broad range of subjects, I am passionate about test preparation, Accountancy, and Algebra.
I am a current undergraduate student at Duke University seeking a major in neuroscience and a possible minor in literature or chemistry. I have been tutoring higher level courses since the beginning of high school, and although I tutor in a variety of subjects, I specialize in writing, English, and essay editing (especially IB Extended Essays or college essays). I also help students with standardized testing, particularly in the SAT Reading portion of the exam. My passion for tutoring comes from my love of learning and helping others learn, and in my free time I enjoy painting, poetry, and fashion design.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida. I completed my studies in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience and have minors in statistics and business administration. I am currently going on to obtain a Master in Computational Social Science at the University of Chicago. I am passionate about research, data collection, and analysis in the area of cognitive psychology. My specialties lie in Psychology and Statistics and I have a very strong mathematical foundation. I have experience working with middle school and high school aged students as a tutor through the national honor society club, which I was a member of as a high school student. I think that data science and research is important for our future, so I am motivated to help students learn and appreciate math and science as important tools.
I am also adept in tutoring english grammar, language, and literature. There are few things I enjoy more than a true challenge, whether it be physical or mental. I aspire to be a great inventor and hope that my ideas and creations may simplify life as we know it and bring health, comfort, and joy to the masses. My favorite book is "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett and I recommend that everyone read promptly.
I am able to develop an efficient, structured tutoring plan that is pleasant, reinforcing, and rewarding for the respective student.
I am a sophomore at Johns Hopkins University studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. I tutor many STEM subjects, SAT/ACT prep, and AP/IB classes! In the years past, I've mentored two robotics teams and I have experience tutoring at my school and in my neighborhood. I deeply believe that an intuitive understanding of educational content is crucial to success, and I implement this philosophy by teaching problem-solving techniques and strategies in addition to the material. In my free time, I love to read, paint, crochet, and watch TV shows. :)

Florida's standards require strong foundational skills in reading, math, and science—areas where personalized 1-on-1 instruction makes a measurable difference. While Winter Garden's average student-teacher ratio of 17.7:1 is reasonable, classroom teachers still juggle diverse learning needs across many students. Personalized tutoring fills that gap by providing focused, one-on-one attention tailored to your student's specific challenges, learning pace, and goals—something even the best classroom teacher can't fully provide in a group setting.
The first session is an assessment and planning meeting. The tutor learns about your student's academic strengths, challenges, current coursework, and goals. They'll identify specific areas to focus on and create a personalized plan aligned with Winter Garden's curriculum and your student's timeline—whether that's improving a grade, preparing for a test, or building long-term skills.
Varsity Tutors offers flexible tutoring packages to fit different budgets and schedules. Whether you need intensive support before a major test, ongoing help throughout the school year, or targeted sessions for a specific subject, we can customize a plan that works for your family. Contact us to discuss options that align with your needs and budget.
