I developed a passion for biology at Gettysburg College while researching cell cycle control and DNA damage repair pathways in the common bread mold Aspergillus nidulans. This experience led me to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Sciences at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. I decided to start tutoring because it is the perfect opportunity for me to share my passion for science and gain valuable teaching experience. The two things that make me a great tutor are my deep understanding of biology and my ability to communicate complex concepts in ways that are easy to understand.
