About Me

I'm a special education teacher in Queens, NY. I have experience teaching in both traditional and alternative high schools. I combine socio-emotional learning with data-driven instruction to help students see their potential and gain confidence. I taught subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Algebra I, Geometry, and Global and US History. In my previous experience in fundraising and database management, I taught non-tech savvy colleagues how to use databases and generate reports using Harry Potter and other relatable subjects. My passion lies in helping students access their background knowledge and apply it to their learning.
