I am currently pursuing a degree in Music Education and Music Performance, with a deep passion for both teaching and performing. My musical journey began at age seven with piano, and I have since expanded my training to include flute, piccolo, and voice. I've had the privilege of performing in solo, orchestral, wind ensemble, jazz, and pit orchestra settings across New Jersey and New York, and I was honored as the 2024 Concerto Competition Runner-Up at my college. I've been running my own private music studio since 2022, where I work with students of all ages and levels. In addition, I serve as a Music Major Tutor at my college, helping peers with music theory, ear training, and audition preparation. I'm also a proud member of NAfME, ACDA, and Tri Alpha, an honor society for first-generation college students. At the heart of my teaching is a belief that every student deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported in their learning. I strive to create a welcoming and encouraging environment where students feel safe to make mistakes, explore new ideas, and grow both musically and personally. I believe music is a powerful tool for self-expression and confidence, and I love helping students discover their unique voicewhether it's through mastering a difficult piece, preparing for an audition, or simply building foundational skills. As a tutor, I bring patience, empathy, and adaptability, tailoring each session to fit the needs and learning style of the individual. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically or musically, but to help them gain a deeper sense of pride, purpose, and joy in their learning journey.
