About Me

I'm so excited to be a part of Varsity Tutors. I am passionate about equity and inclusion in education. I believe each student is unique and can thrive when they are given the opportunity to learn. I have an MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) from Miami University where I studied education and conservation biology. I traveled to global conservation hot spots and worked with the community on various ecologic and educational projects. I have a background in tutoring throughout high school and college. I spent 6 years working at an institution where I taught classes and public programs to students from K-12 and even some for adults. I have also taught at a Nature school for a year. I have found that I love teaching all ages especially Science and Math. I love helping students prepare for testing; CogAT, GED and SAT/ACT. I have many resources for these tests to keep students up with the current testing trends and practice problems.
