About Me

Hi! I'm Kuby, an enthusiastic tutor who enjoys helping students feel more confident in STEM subjects, especially math. I hold an engineering degree and like to think of tutoring a bit like tech support for learning. If a concept feels confusing, we'll slow down and work through it together step by step until it starts to click. I've tutored students online across North America and internationally, including IB Math AA SL, and I'm familiar with both US and Canadian high school math curricula. I've also helped younger students prepare for contests like the Waterloo Math Contests in Canada and the AMC in the US. I currently teach Singapore Math at a local tutoring center, so I'm comfortable showing different ways to approach problems. For exams like the SAT, PSAT, and ACT, I focus on building strong fundamentals and practicing common question types.
