About Me

I am an electrical engineering Ph.D. student at Purdue University. My research interests cut across power and energy devices and systems. As an undergraduate EE student, I studied the impacts of FACTs devices on grids for my honor's thesis at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Since then, I have continued to study electric machine drive systems. Presently, I work on establishing electric machine and inverter models for transportation and industrial applications. As I advance in my degree, I also occupy teaching roles for an undergraduate machine lab course for which I instruct on the theory, operation, and simulation of electric machines. I am always eager to see that my students understand the basics or background of the subject I teach as well as the math behind the engineering problem being considered. Outside Electrical Engineering, I may be found baking, cooking, or reading archeological magazines; I find them to be great stress relievers.
