My name is Keva and I'm really excited to be tutoring again! I've tutored for 2 years with an organization called Mathnasium and I absolutely loved every minute there; tutoring is one of my favorite ways of engaging with academic material. I'm in my second year at the University of Virginia studying philosophy I have extensive experience with elementary mathematics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, mechanical physics, electro-magnetic physics, and critical writing and analysis. Much of the experience I have with tutoring came through working with Mathnasium, but I have privately tutored friends and acquaintances in the various subjects I've outlined. My teaching style comes from a necessity to conform the way that I teach to best suit the way that the student learns. If I teach a subject a certain way and a student doesn't substantially grasp the content, I take it upon myself to change the methods and processes of my teaching. I've been able to do this with multiple students at a time, and I've made it a particular characteristic of my teaching whenever I'm one-on-one with any student as well.
