About Me

Since the 5th grade, I discovered I had a very distinct passion for literature, writing, and the arts. My very first poem was published by Disney in the 5th grade. As I moved on to secondary school I was not only intrigued with literature and writing, but also with the Graphic Design, drawing, and photography. I studied Graphic Design at a community college and received my Associate's degree, then I attended a four-year university and received my bachelors in English with minors in Creative Writing and African American Studies. Currently, I am enrolled in graduate school for Secondary English Education. I like to follow the "D" motto; "Determination and Dedication." Let's be determined and dedicated together. I have experience helping students in areas of English Language Arts, elementary math, and social sciences. I am a substitute teacher and, as such, work with all grade levels and subjects. I look forward to working with you!
