About Me

I am a highly motivated rising Sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill who is looking to help others realize their full potential. Currently, I'm working toward my Bachelors degree with a double major in Business and Public Policy. My senior year of High School I tutored students in various math subjects, and this past year, part of my work with the Big Brother Big Sister program has been working with a third-grader with her math, reading, and writing. I tutor math up through Algebra 2, as well as ACT Science, Reading, and Writing, SAT Critical Reading, and Elementary and Middle School reading and writing. My favorite subject to tutor is ACT prep, because I like to see students scores on practice exams, and the actual exams, improve as we work together. My favorite part about tutoring overall is working with students and getting to see their excitement when they realize they've figured out how to do something they previously didn't think they could. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy going to the gym and reading. I've played soccer since I was 4 years old, and I really enjoyed playing on an intramural soccer team during my freshman year. During the school year, I'm very involved with Student Government, the Roosevelt Institute, and the Big Brother Big Sister program.
