About Me

My name is Adrian and I am currently working on my BS in Mathematics and Minor in Secondary Education at UNLV. I am 26 years old and I have been in Las Vegas all my life. I also am the first person to go to college in my family and I am first generation Mexican-American. My hobbies include painting and playing rugby. I am very tall and often make jokes about it since every interaction I have with someone they always say something about my height. I have been told before that I am a charismatic person and I really like to make people laugh. I think school should be an enjoyable experience and I try to do whatever I can to make it both entertaining and a great learning experience. My teaching strategy is to bring student's confidence in a certain subject to better levels because once you have confidence in your schoolwork then you have confidence in everything you do. I have been tutoring now for the past year and a half and absolutely love it. I love helping other people and find it extremely rewarding when a student tells me that they have passed a class, test or anything positive in their schoolwork has come from me and helping them. I believe that everyone has potential to do great things, it just depends on how much work do you want to put into it.
