About Me

I am very interested in helping students develop their academic skills. I received my Master’s Degree in World History from NYU, and am currently student teaching as the final piece of my Master’s Degree in Adolescent Education. I have highly developed writing, studying, and test taking skills, and have spent the past 2 years learning how to best share these skills with students. I feel that the most important thing for a teacher, and a tutor, to do is to work with a student to figure out how they learn, in order to tailor instruction to make use of their own personal strengths. I love working with students to figure out the ideal approach, and seeing the “Aha!” moment when something clicks. Hobbies: baking, art, books, writing, yoga, reading, music
