About Me

I graduated in 2009 from Trinity International University with a double major in education and Mathematics. I also obtained my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University in 2014. I have been teaching for 5 years and am excited to begin my 6th year this fall. I have experience teaching students math from 6th grade all the way through 12th grade. I have taught a wide variety of students ranging to those with learning disabilities to students who are gifted. I will be tutoring middle school math, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and Trig. My favorite subject to tutor is Algebra 1. Is is the foundation of all high school and college math classes. I believe that every student has the ability to learn. Some learn at a faster pace and some take a little longer to process it. I also believe that not everyone learns the same way. It is my job as a tutor to figure out the best way to break things down in order for you to be successful. Outside of academics, I love watching and participating in a variety of sports. I am passionate about running and have even ran a half marathon. I also love to travel. I have been to 9 countries so far and hope to add to that.
