I am a certified yoga instructor. I believe that physical discipline through yoga practice better prepares the mind for mental endeavors such as test taking or test preparation. Because we live in such a busy world, yoga allows me the time to turn inward and listen to my mind and body's needs. In my spare time I enjoy camping, biking, and working in my garden.

I am a seasoned educator with over ten years of experience teaching, tutoring, and coaching. Over the past four years, I have had the opportunity to work at a private school that served twice-exceptional students. These students had some type of learning difference (ADHD, Dyslexia, High-Functioning Autistic) while also possessing gifted attributes.
