I am currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I was born into quite a small family of one sister and two brothers. My late father was a public servant, and my mother is a retired civil servant who is currently based in Accra, Ghana. My father died of an unknown sickness exactly a year when I graduated from college. I was born and raised in Accra, Ghana; Accra is the capital city of Ghana. All my family are based in Ghana, and I am the only one whos currently in the United States.

I am an educator and artist with a passion for languages. I have experience teaching in both Minneapolis and Paris, and I have tutored in K-12 core subject matters - math, science, language arts, and social studies. I have my Master's of Education from the University of Minnesota in Second Languages and Cultures with a narrow focus on English as a Second Language. I am interested in a wide range of subjects, but I am most passionate about theology and history. I truly believe that given the proper tools, assistance, and personal motivation every student can succeed academically. As both a teacher and a tutor, I am determined to make that happen for every student I work with.

I am currently pursuing an M.A. in Education from Augsburg College. My hobbies include rock climbing, attending concerts, playing soccer, and writing short stories. Let's do this!

I am well versed in high school curriculum, including Pre-Algebra, Biology, US History, and Spanish. I currently provide additional support to students during this time of distance learning, including students in grades K-8. In my free time, I enjoy taking bike rides, cooking up new foods, and hammocking with friends.

I'm excited to share my passion of math and design with others. I enjoy applying concepts learned in the classroom to real-life situations. It's not just about learning what we are supposed to learn, but rather understanding why it is important and what we can do with it.
