I am a recent graduate of Otterbein University, where I received my bachelors degree in Physics and Mathematics. I am currently in the application process to enroll in graduate school to pursue my PHD in Condensed Matter Physics. My academic focus is in sustainable energy resources and energy storage, with aspirations to do research in the field of nuclear fusion.

My area of interest is early modern Atlantic maritime culture, particularly political and socioeconomic culture, and my dissertation is a study of early 18th-century pirates and their expressions of political identity. While my research interests are varied, I am particularly interested in early modern political culture in the British Atlantic world.
