I am now applying to medical school and working with children and teens as a part-time clinical research associate and patient educator in the field of pediatric asthma at a prestigious academic medical center. I am today because of the challenges I have overcome through my childhood and adult life. These challenges helped shape my morals, goals, aspirations and beliefs.

I am working to take advantage of every opportunity I can to develop as a pedagogue.
