Hi there, my name is Chelsea, it's nice to meet you! I have a B.S. in Physics from UT Dallas (Go Comets!) and I love to help physics students of all levels. I am currently a grad student studying Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (full time in Jan 2022 semester) so my schedule this upcoming semester will change (will update soon).
*Due to the Holidays I will not be available from 12/20 to 1/5.*
Let's talk about sessions....
Subjects: I only teach physics and very closely related kinds of general physics, I do not have a speciality in any particular type of physics unless it is part of the undergraduate curriculum for physics majors accepted by most universities (such as Thermodynamics, Optics, etc). I currently do not tutor mathematics but plan to in the future.
For New Students general availability is below:
I operate on a first-come first-serve basis to make session timing fair to all students. Requests made for next day session under 24 hours can only be honored if there is available space.
Materials: I can't emphasize this enough. Please send any materials you'd like to cover during the session at least 24 hours before our scheduled session time (so that I have enough time to prepare), it's never too early to send materials to my email.
Time Zones: Also, unless otherwise specified, all session times will be communicated in EST (converting your time zone to EST) for ease of use and to reduce confusion considering Varsity Tutors has students from all over the United States.
