Imagination takes me places others fail to venture. My passion for reading opens doors to options traditionally overlooked. Equipped with a trusting intuition and grounded by over a decadeof experience working with 600+ young adults with unique learning styles, emotions, and interests my individualized and full service approach gets the results stakeholders want acceptance into the best possible colleges, universities, and programs. As a college advisor / academic coach, I work with high school and college aged individuals who want to stay academically competitive. My empathetic yet candid approach helps me form effective relationships with a full range of learners. Measurable achievement is realized by numerous acceptances to selective colleges and universities. Additionally, I effectively equip individuals who are challenged by ADHD, ADD, anxiety, and Autism Spectrum Disorders, addressing barriers resulting in higher educational accomplishments. My professional path is somewhat unconventional. Proficient in Spanish, I began my career as a marketing specialist and events planner. Along the way I ventured into acting and eventually landed in college advising - my true calling - after working for the Princeton Review for several years. The college admissions process utilizes the best of my combined experiences whether this means studying individual behavior and interests to build a trusting connection that leads to more accurate placement, coaching students to write high impact personal statements, or managing the process to ensure timely submissions of financial aid applications and scholarship requests. Since 2005, I have assisted freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors within the Westchester County region from low income to the very wealthy in a variety of settings focused on the SAT, ACT, Private Tutoring, and Admission Counseling achieve a more successful outcome than they would have going it alone.
